Services

inside of a library, desks, chairs, book shelves

The Adult Services area of the Genoa Public Library is located at the front of the building and contains a wide variety of fiction and non- fiction titles, as well as audio book titles, music CD's, DVD's, magazines, and large print titles.  Materials are curated to provide a wide selection to choose from as well as titles recommended by patrons. Tables are provided for quiet work spaces, and casual seating along the front windows provides an excellent spot to relax with a good read.  Two catalog computers are provided for searching capabilities.  A self-checkout kiosk is provided for our DIY-minded patrons.

Book Club

The adult Book Club meets on the fourth Monday of each month at 7:00 pm in the program room.  New members are always encouraged!  Some of the titles read in the past include "Gone Girl" by Gillian Flynn, "Unbroken" by Lauren Hillenbrand, "Go Set a Watchman" by Harper Lee, and "The English Spy" by Daniel Silva.  Come in to the library to register.  No need to be a cardholder to join.  Books are available at the front desk for book club members.
