These days it’s hard to avoid being hit with a scam whether it comes via a text on your phone or an email on your computer. On Monday, August 10, 2026 Genoa Police Chief Chris Hathcoat will be presenting a program about modern scams and how to avoid being a victim at 6:00 pm in the library Event Room. Topics to be covered include tech support, emergency, romance, and government impersonation scams. You won’t want to miss this!
