Coronavirus (COVID-19) Response Measures
*UPDATE* The Genoa Public Library District will be closed from Tuesday, March 17 – Tuesday, April 7. In an effort promote public health safety, the library has deemed it prudent to temporarily close in an effort to enforce social distancing. At this time the library intends to re-open on Wednesday, April 8 at 10:00 am.
Patrons with borrowed materials should retain them until April 8. No fines will be accrued while the library is closed and all due dates have been extended until April 7. All patron accounts that would expire during the month of March have been extended until April 30.

As this is a rapidly evolving situation further precautions may be taken if deemed necessary. The library is in contact with other community organizations including Genoa-Kingston CUSD #424, the City of Genoa, the Genoa Township Park District, and the DeKalb County Health Department. We will continue to coordinate with these entities going forward.
We recommend that everyone stay informed of the latest updates on the Coronavirus and undertake appropriate actions to remain healthy and limit the spread of the virus.
